Gameloft is looking for a game designer to work on its line of sports games for mobile devices. The principal responsibility will be to work on the sequel of a baseball game for mobile phones, deciding what adjustments will be needed for the game play, graphics and interface to take the game to the next level. Following that project the designer will have the opportunity to work on different sports games in the Gameloft catalogue, including basketball, football and soccer. The designer will coordinate work with many programmers and graphic artists, so good organization and time management skills are needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Adaptation of existing sports games to different devices. • In conjunction with a senior designer, resolve Interface, controls and navigation design. • Communication of needs to team members. • Benchmarking of competition. • Design the game play, artificial intelligence and rules of sports games. • Editing the teams and stats of all players. • Balancing game play to get realistic results. • Working on multiple projects at once
