FastLife www.FastLife.ca FastLife, the world’s most stylish speed dating and singles events provider, is looking for hosts to facilitate our events, both speed dating and other singles parties. As our hosts are the face of FastLife and ambassadors of the company we are looking for dynamic, outgoing, and confident individuals who are immaculately presented.
FastLife originated in Australia in 2002 and rapidly became that country’s largest and most recognized speed dating provider. North American operations began in January 2006 and we are now holding speed dating events in 28 major cities across Canada, the United States, Australia and New Zealand, making FastLife the world’s first truly international speed dating company. We target successful, busy, urban professionals primarily 25-40 years old, so ideally hosts should fit within this target.
Our hosts need to be sociable, lively and comfortable addressing crowds. They need to have the ability to relate to all sorts of people and set people at ease. They also need to be organised, reliable and have access to the internet. This is an evening position and you must be able to work up to three nights a week including Tuesday and Wednesday night. Further, the host must be bilingual. The host's responsibilities include preparation prior to the event, meeting & greeting guests, facilitating the event, collecting & recording Match Folder Data and ensuring that everyone has a fabulous time.
The hosting role also has a marketing component and hosts need to be able to talk fluently about FastLife, including our systems, services and differentiation from competitors. Hosts should regularly check the web site and be familiar with all new event formats and upcoming events in order that they can promote these to guests. Hosts will also have contact with the media from time to time, specifically when journalists or reporters attend events, and need to be confident and knowledgeable answering questions about FastLife and the specific event in question. As the face of the company, FastLife hosts are renumerated accordingly. If you feel this role describes you, please send a cover letter, resume and headshot to Events Manager, at hosting@fastlife.ca. If you have any questions about the role, please call 1 800 406 0832. Application deadline is Friday, July 14, 2006.

ok so here's my beef; personally I do not like sites that do not say anything about WHO is behind the venture.. There is a Who section at their website fastlife.ca but no dice. Not to mention my social radar did not pick up any buzz about them, could be bunch of sleazeballs out to get cheap dates. My verdict is YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN BE CAREFUL and let me know if I am wrong about them!;)
